Crisp Group working with a growing success

Crisp Group, one of the South West’s leading business development consultancies are delighted to announce that they have recently won a 12 month contract to work with Exeter based St Bridget Nurseries to help manage and develop their marketing communications programme throughout 2009.

Established over 80 years ago, St Bridget’s are a well known and highly respected local name in the horticultural world, running two garden centres at Old Rydon Lane and Clyst St Mary in addition to a large nursery operation and mail order business. The nurseries provide the vast majority of the plants sold at the 2 garden centres sustaining a very ‘home grown’ approach and reducing the environmentally damaging ‘plant miles’ factor.

Crisp Consulting are working with the owners and senior management to help develop the business over next year with an emphasis on promoting St Bridget’s core values of friendly expertise, quality and professionalism more effectively to both the established customer base and to a wider public.

In tandem, Crisp’s creative wing Crisp Communications will be working on developing a new Corporate Identity, attractive publications, signage and other forms of publicity, while Crisp eBusiness, Crisp’s in-house web development team will work on enhancing St Bridget’s existing website.

’ It is a tremendous privilege to be working with such a long established and well respected business such as St Bridget’s – our work is made that much easier in that we will be building on existing strengths ,a real bonus in these economically challenging times!’ commented John Parker, one of Crisp Group’s Senior Consultants, ‘ We will be looking to focus on St Bridget’s breadth of experience in the gardening field, raising their profile in the local area and reaching a wider audience ranging from novice gardeners to experts – St Bridget’s being ideally placed to offer something for every gardener.’
