A group of companies involved general property development, including house building, roofing, joinery, large scale development and the property rental.
Challenge/Task
The company had never provided their senior team with any training and determined that the future growth of the company was dependent on it.
Crisp Involvement
Following a comprehensive review and ‘Training Needs Analysis’, Bill Allen, Business Development Manager at Crisp developed a bespoke leadership development programme, which ran over a period of twelve months.
The team were assessed throughout using Crisp’s P3 Behavioural Profiling tool, with the ultimate objective of moving members of the Management Team up to a higher grade of responsibility within the company.
Approach/Solution
Due to the scale of the project it was agreed that Bill Allen would act as a facilitator throughout the training, to not only provide continuity, but also to make the tutorial sessions more meaningful. We engaged a team of relevant trainers, all of whom were practical experts in their field. All delegates received comprehensive session workbooks, featuring action plans for on-job projects.
Process
- All delegates underwent a pre-project assessment.
- Individual delegate’s performance level was benchmarked.
- Delegates met monthly for one or two sessions over a ten-month period.
- Tutorials were organised every three months to asses Delegate’s training levels
- On completion of each programme delegates re-completed the initial benchmarking survey to monitor progress and achievements.
Outcomes
- Every delegate saw a growth in his or her ability.
- The highest recorded growth was just under 40%
- One of the delegates has already been promoted to Managing Director of their Company within the group, with more promotions to follow.
Satisfactions
At the end of the programme the client was satisfied with the outcome. Many of the delegates commented on their growth and how they felt more confident in considering a Director level role.
The client has already recommended our programme to other customers.
