Crisp Professional Development (CPD) one of the South West region’s best known and highly respected business and personal enhancement training provider has been working closely with long-established West Country mutual insurer Cornish Mutual Assurance to develop and deliver an innovative staff development programme that will encompass the entire organisation.
Following a period of detailed consultation and discussion CPD have successfully developed a programme entitled Top Team Performance, which will be available to each staff member at Cornish Mutual.
Although renowned for its range of business development training courses delivered throughout the region, CPD increasingly find themselves work very closely with clients to explore other areas for improvement and support - through consultancy, mentoring and the co-development of ‘bespoke programmes’ and packages that match particular circumstances. Top Team Performance being a very good example of this mutually developed approach.
Helen Gilzean, CPD’s Operations Director reflects on what has been a very successful co-development process, ‘We carefully examined the relationships between the individual, team and the organisation and posed the question, “Why are confident, knowledgeable and enthusiastic team members essential to the growth and success of the company?”
During each session, we explored ways in which to maximise individual potential and encourage commitment to participation through development of personal advancement skills.
The introductory session – High Impact Communication Skills was designed to build a strong foundation for further development and was presented over several sessions. They were very highly rated and Cornish Mutual have now requested a further module How to Build and Maintain a High Performance Team for presentation in Spring 2007.’
